KABUL: The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has reported that more than 100 tons of life-saving medicines have entered Afghanistan this week via special charter flights.
UNICEF stated on X on Tuesday that this medical aid has been provided in collaboration with the World Bank, South Asia, and the Asian Development Bank.
The organization added that the shipment includes essential supplies and medicines to address urgent health needs across more than 2,400 healthcare centers in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
This initiative aims to support the healthcare system in the country.
