Weapons, ammunition, and cash discovered and seized in Ghazni, Kapisa

KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs and said in a statement today that police forces in Ghazni and Kapisa provinces have discovered and seized a quantity of weapons, ammunition, and nearly 1 million Afghanis in cash.
According to the statement, 8 weapons, 7 hand grenades, 200 bullets, Walkie-talkie devices, and various military gear in Ghazni, a Kalashnikov, a pistol, 40 PK bullets, military clothing, and 871,700 Afghanis in cash have been discovered and seized in Kapisa.
The weapons were found in Jaghori district of Ghazni province, said the statement, adding that the cash and weapons were discovered and seized in Skini village, Parto valley of Nijrab district of Kapisa province.
No further details were provided in the statement that anyone detained or not in connection with case.
Efforts are underway by the county’s security and defense forces to strengthen stability and counter any hostile activities in the country.
