1,000 Special Forces cadets join National Army after training, ministry

KABUL: As part of the ongoing training and professional development of Afghanistan’s security and defense forces, 1,000 special forces personnel from the Ministry of National Defense have graduated from a training course.
According to a statement from the ministry on Wednesday night, the graduates belong to the first joint battalion of special forces, the mobile armored battalion, and the fourth joint battalion.
The special forces cadets have been graduated after completing a one-month advanced military training at the National Defense Ministry’s Special Forces Academy.
Officials of the Ministry of National Defense, speaking in the graduation ceremony, emphasized that their training is aimed at preserving the Islamic system and defending the country.
They also urged the graduate officers to treat the people with kindness and gentleness while performing duties, and to gain their satisfaction and trust.
This comes just two days after approximately 400 police personnel also graduated from a training program in Kabul and joined police forces.
