Concern about threats from Afghanistan unfounded, Fitrat

KABUL: Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), in response to recent statements of Russia’s Defense Minister, said that concerns about threats emanating from Afghanistan are unfounded.
Fitrat emphasized that “There are no rogue groups in Afghanistan, and no threat is posed to anyone from this territory.” He noted that the idea of the presence of twenty terrorist groups was propagated during the American occupation, primarily for intelligence purposes.
This comes as officials from the Islamic Emirate have previously assured that Afghanistan is an independent, stable, and secure country, with no threats posed to any other nation.
