Israeli regime approves construction of 22 new settlements in West Bank

KABUL: The Israeli regime’s Ministry of Defense has announced that the cabinet has approved the construction of 22 new settlements in the occupied West Bank.

According to reports, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that this action strengthens Israel’s control over the West Bank and further asserts their historical claims to the land.

This development comes amid widespread condemnation from much of the international community, which considers the establishment of Israeli settlements illegal and believes it poses a significant obstacle to resolving the long-standing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
