KABUL: A new housing complex for refugees has been inaugurated in the Daman district of Kandahar province, by Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, and Shaikh Hamdullah Nomani, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Housing.
The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing stated that the complex is built on 1,510 jeribs of state land, comprising 1,140 plots divided into three categories (5, 10, and 15 marlas) based on need.
Shaikh Hamdullah Nomani emphasized that this housing complex is a practical step in accordance with the policies of the Islamic Emirate to provide a safe, dignified living environment for homeless citizens.
