KABUL: A rally in the US advocating for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza was attacked, resulting in at least six injuries.
Sky News, a Western media outlet, reported today that a 45-year-old man launched an attack using an incendiary spray against a crowd in Boulder, Colorado, where individuals were marching for the freedom of Israeli hostages.
According to agency, the assailant shouted “Freedom for Palestine” during the attack. Six participants were severely injured and transported to the hospital by helicopter.
The report states that in the aftermath of the attack, large sections of Boulder were blocked off, and the FBI, using dogs, began searching the city for explosive materials.
The 45-year-old man, who has been photographed during the attack while shouting “Freedom for Palestine,” is currently in custody. No further information about his identity has been released.
This incident comes amid ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza and the economic blockade of the region, which have drawn widespread criticism from citizens and senior officials in Western countries.
