Islamic Emirate Supreme Leader: Success and progress of current system is everyone’s responsibility

KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, in a message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, stated today that the success and progress of the current Islamic system across various sectors in the country is a collective responsibility for both officials and citizens.

In his message, the leader emphasized the importance of strengthening unity and collective agreement in the country, calling for coordination, non-interference in one another’s affairs, and the implementation of Sharia law first by the officials and then by the people in society.

The message also highlighted the role of scholars and influential figures in the implementation of Islamic law based on religious texts.

The Amir asked the country’s judges to ensure justice in all cases, considering their significant responsibilities.

The ministries of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Hajj and Religious Affairs, and Higher Education have been urged to coordinate with scholars to encourage the public to engage in good deeds.

The message stressed the undeniable role of traders in the economic progress and reconstruction of the country, instructing relevant economic institutions to provide all necessary support to traders for Afghanistan’s self-sufficiency.

Addressing the issues faced by returning refugees and focusing on the education of school and university students were also highlighted in the leader’s message.

The country’s Leader condemned the Zionist Israel regime’s attacks on women, children, and innocent people in Palestine as a grave humanitarian crime, reiterating the full support of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for them.

Congratulating the Eid al-Adha to all Muslims worldwide, the leader wished acceptance of the prayers and worship of all Muslims, especially the 30,000 Afghan pilgrims participating in the Hajj.

According to the announcement of the Moon Sighting Committee of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Saturday, June 7, has been declared the first day of Eid al-Adha in the country.
