KABUL: Amir al-Mu’minin Shaikh-u-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, offered the Eid al-Adha prayer in Kandahar, spokesman of the IEA Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, the leader of the Islamic Emirate performed the Eid prayer with the participation of thousands of individuals at the central Eid mosque in Kandahar city.
The Radio Omid correspondent said that Eid prayer was also conducted in a secure environment in the districts of Kandahar province.
The Radio Omid correspondents from Ghazni and Khost provinces also said that the Eid prayer was held in complete security.
