KABUL: Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stated during the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Arg that no one should be allowed to extinguish the flame of the Islamic system.
According to a statement from Arg today, the Eid al-Adha prayer was attended by the Prime Minister, his Economic and Administrative Deputies, the Chief Justice, the head of the Supreme Court, and several cabinet members.
Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund called security and the Sharia system as a divine blessing and noted that the media reflects the achievements of the current system minimally.
He urged religious scholars to protect and defend the existing Islamic system in the country.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need for timely attention to the issues of returning refugees and thanked religious scholars, imams, mujahideen, and citizens for raising their voices in support of Gaza and Palestinians.
He also called on Afghans living abroad to return home, assuring them that no harm would come to them.
Following the decree of Amir al-Mu’minin, a general amnesty has been declared, allowing them to live peacefully upon their return to their homeland.
This comes as the Eid al-Adha prayer was offered by Amir al-Mu’minin in the central Eid mosque of Kandahar, with the participation of thousands of people.
