Moscow’s two airports closed due to Ukraine drone strikes

KABUL: Russian officials have announced that two airports near Moscow have been temporarily closed due to Ukraine’s drone strikes.

According to Reuters, nine drones were used in these attacks, leading Moscow to close the airports for security reasons.

Meanwhile, U.S. officials have indicated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is seeking a response to these recent drone strikes from Ukraine, which could potentially escalate tensions.

They also estimate that Russian retaliatory strikes may occur within a few days, utilizing drones and missiles.
