KABUL: Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, and Espen Barth Eide, his Norwegian counterpart, hold talks about Afghanistan.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday night, that the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 22nd Oslo World Forum.
The statement did not provide further details about the specific discussions between Araghchi and Eide concerning Afghanistan.
In addition to Afghanistan, the two ministers also addressed bilateral relations between Oslo and Tehran, as well as regional and international issues.
Recent developments in the negotiations between Iran and the U.S. over Tehran’s nuclear program were also among the issues discussed.
Notably, the 22nd Oslo World Forum is currently being held with senior officials from various countries in the capital of Norway.
