KABUL: Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, has informed Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, that Pyongyang will always stand by Moscow.
Reuters reported this morning that Kim sent a letter to Putin in honor of Russia’s National Day, referring to him as a “dear comrade.”
In the letter, Kim praised the current relations between North Korea and Russia, stating, “This is an unwavering determination from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and myself to continue strengthening the ties between our countries.”
Kim also extended his congratulations to Putin on Russia’s National Day.
According to the Russian calendar, June 12 is celebrated as National Day, marking the largest holiday for the establishment of the Russian Federation after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
