Chinese President to visit Kazakhstan for three days

KABUL: Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to visit Kazakhstan for three days next week.
Lin Jian, spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said today that President Xi will be in Astana from June 16 to 18.
This visit is being made at the official invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan.
Jian emphasized that the purpose of Xi Jinping’s visit is to participate in the second China-Central Asia Summit, which is expected to be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
The first China-Central Asia Summit took place in 2023 in Xi’an city, China.
