KABUL: Five senior military and government officials of Iran have been killed in the Zionist regime’s airstrikes, Iranian media reported.
These officials were killed early this morning during intense air assaults in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
The deceased include Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the IRGC, General Gholamali Rashid, commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, Feraidoun Abbasi, nuclear scientist and former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mehdi Tehranchi, nuclear scientist, and Mohammad Baqeri, chief of staff of the armed forces.
According to published information, these officials were targeted in their homes by the Israeli regime.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s leader, has stated that a “severe punishment” awaits Israel. He emphasized that the military and nuclear capabilities of Iran will not be weakened by the deaths of these commanders, as there are capable replacements ready to take on their responsibilities.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that a dangerous conflict is occurring in the Middle East.
