KABUL: During an emergency UN meeting, Russian representative Vasily Nebenzya described the Israeli regime’s attacks on Iran as a blatant violation of the UN Charter and international laws.
He warned that these attacks could push the region toward a wider nuclear conflict.
Meanwhile, Chinese representative Fu Kang characterized the Israeli strikes on Iran as crossing a red line, emphasizing that Beijing opposes the escalation of hostilities and expressed concern over the consequences of the Israeli regime’s actions.
This comes after Israel conducted extensive airstrikes on significant military and potential nuclear facilities in Iran, compelling Iran to retaliate with hundreds of missiles fired at Israeli targets.
