Putin in telephone call with his Iranian counterparts condemns Israel’s aggression

KABUL: Russian President Vladimir Putin during a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, condemned the Israeli regime’s attacks on Iranian territory

According to IRNA, the conversation took place on Friday night, where President Putin expressed his concerns about the attacks to Israeli officials, labeling them as violations of international law.

Putin also indicated that Moscow is ready to mediate between Tel Aviv and Tehran.

During the discussion, Pezeshkian noted that from the very first day of his presidency, the Israeli regime  with the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political bureau, in Tehran has sought to escalate tensions.

Meanwhile, Putin had previously urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to return to the diplomatic table during his phone conversation with him.
