KABUL: Following conflict between Israel and Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has targeted specific sites in Israel in a new wave of missile attacks Saturday night, according to state-run Tasnim news agency.
The IRGC’s statement indicated that the attacks were carried out using missiles and drones, targeting Israeli fighter jets, fuel production centers, and energy supply facilities.
The statement further warned that if hostilities and aggressions continue, the Iranian armed forces’ operations will become more severe and widespread.
As of now, the exact number of casualties and damages from this new wave of attacks on Israel remains unclear.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes, including drone strikes, missiles, and bombings, have continued against various parts of Iran over the past day.
U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have emphasized the need to end the hostilities.
