KHOST: The provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Khost has said that work on 77 projects worth 150 million Afghanis have been started in the Nader Shah Kot district of the province.
Mawlavi Enayatullah Jalali, the head of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Khost, mentioned that the funds spend on the projects will not only address the basic needs of people in remote areas but will also create job opportunities for dozens of individuals.
He noted that several projects have also been initiated in other areas of Khost.
Residents of the areas expressed satisfaction with the start of the projects and called on the government to implement similar initiatives.
It is worth mentioning that last year, around 100 development projects were completed and handed over for use in various districts, including the provincial capital.
