KABUL: At least 59 Palestinians have been killed and over 220 others injured due to gunfire from Israeli tanks targeting a crowd gathering for food aid.
According to Reuters, citing health sources in Gaza, the incident occurred in Khan Younis when thousands of Palestinians gathered at the roadside to receive flour from aid trucks.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli tanks suddenly fired two shells into the crowd, resulting in casualties.
It is worth noting that in a similar incident in Khan Younis just two days ago, at least 45 Palestinians were also martyred.
