KABUL: In response to the potential US intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict, Sergey Ryabkov, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, has stated that direct US military assistance would exacerbate the situation.
Ryabkov warned today that if the US provides direct military support to the Israeli regime, it will completely destabilize the situation in the Middle East.
Earlier, Sergey Naryshkin, head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), described the situation between Iran and Israel as tense.
This comes as former US President Donald Trump has been considering the implications of US involvement in the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel over the past two days.
In various warnings, Trump has expressed a desire for the unconditional surrender of Iran, suggested evacuation plans for Tehran, and made statements reflecting on the US’s non-involvement in the current war.
