KABUL: The National Standards Authority (ANSA) has announced that an emergency meeting of the High Standards Council will soon be held, with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs,on the chair and will be attended by Mullah Faizullah Tamim, the head of the ANSA.
According to the ANSA, the meeting will focus on discussions and decision-making regarding the strengthening and approval of standards and experimental methods related to petroleum and liquefied gas products.
The statement mentioned that the emergency meeting will be held based on the decree of the esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin.
No specific date for the meeting was provided in the statement.
Two months ago, the High Standards Council had approved and implemented seventeen new standards and experimental methods in the country.
