KABUL: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government are the largest obstacles to peace in the region.
According to TRT, Turkey’s state media, Erdoğan made the remarks today at the opening of the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul.
He emphasized that Netanyahu’s Zionist ambitions have no other goal than to lead the world towards catastrophe.
Erdoğan declared, “Let me be clear and straightforward, with all these crimes and attacks, Netanyahu’s government is the biggest obstacle to regional peace.”
He also noted that the attacks by the Israeli regime have caused instability throughout the Middle East.
Furthermore, he stated that the conflict between Israel and Iran has reached a point of no return.
Turkey is hosting the meeting of foreign ministers from OIC member states, which focuses on the Israeli attacks on Iranian territory.
