KABUL: Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow has repeatedly informed the Israeli regime that there is no evidence to support claims of Iran attempting to develop nuclear weapons.
According to a report by Reuters today, Putin made these remarks in an interview with Sky News.
He emphasized that Russia is ready to support Iran in the development of its peaceful nuclear program, affirming that having a peaceful nuclear program is Iran’s right.
He noted, “Russia, just like the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has never had evidence that Iran is preparing to acquire nuclear weapons. We have communicated this to Israeli leadership multiple times.”
Recently, Tulsi Gabbard, head of the U.S. intelligence organization, also stated that there are no documents proving Iran’s attempts to develop nuclear weapons.
In response to Gabbard’s comments, President Donald Trump remarked that she was “mistaken.”
