Iran-Israel conflict: Divided proposals on Trump’s desk

WASHINGTON: Following a miscalculation by the U.S. regarding a direct conflict between Iran and Israel, there has been a division of opinions among officials and politicians in the White House instead of a unified stance, according to several American media reports.
Reports indicate that one group of these political figures believes that the U.S. should engage directly in the conflict, while another group emphasizes indirect involvement in support of the “Zionist regime.”
This opposing perspective arises as Tehran has inflicted significant financial and human losses on Tel Aviv through missile strikes—damages that the U.S. and Israeli governments did not anticipate.
Additionally, Israel has targeted and eliminated high-ranking Iranian officials, deemed critical to Iran’s military capabilities.
It is noteworthy that the conflict between Iran and Israel has entered its second week, with both sides continuing to make serious allegations against one another.
Both sides have suffered considerable financial and human losses due to this ongoing conflict.
