Pakistan Condemns U.S. Attack on Iran’s Nuclear Facilities

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan in a statement today condemned the U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In the statement, Islamabad described the attack as a violation of all principles of international law and expressed deep concern over the potential escalation of tensions in the region. It affirmed Iran’s right to self-defense based on the UN Charter.
The statement noted: “The unprecedented rise in tensions and violence due to ongoing aggressions against Iran is deeply concerning. Any further escalation of tensions will have severely damaging consequences for the region and beyond.”
The Ministry emphasized the need to respect the lives and property of civilians and called for an immediate end to hostilities.
According to Islamabad, dialogue and diplomatic approaches aligned with the principles and goals of the UN Charter are the only viable solutions for resolving the regional crisis.
