Grossi: Iran may soon resume uranium enrichment

KABUL: Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has stated that Iran has the capability to resume uranium enrichment within a few months, or even sooner.

He made the remarks in an interview with the American CBS network.

Grossi noted that although Iran’s nuclear facilities have been damaged by attacks from the U.S. and Israel, Tehran may still be able to reactivate some centrifuges.

He added, “It is still unclear where the 408.6 kilograms of enriched uranium from Iran is.”
