HERAT: Reconstruction work on 9 schools worth 15 million Afghanis has been started in Herat province, the Herat governor’s press office said in a statement today.
The rehabilitation work includes constructing boundary walls, toilets, digging water wells, and solar systems, and will be implemented in Kohsan, Gulran, Guzra, Oba, Angel, Ghorian, and Kohzor districts of the province.
The schools will be reconstructed from the budget of the education department’s partner organization, said the statement.
With the completion of the projects, a suitable educational environment will be provided to hundreds of students.
