KABUL: Iran’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, responded to Donald Trump’s statements regarding the resumption of talks between Tehran and Washington, stating that the discussions will not begin soon and will take some time.
He emphasized that before returning to negotiations with the U.S., it is essential to ensure that the U.S. will not launch attacks on Iran during the talks.
Araghchi also noted that the doors to diplomacy will never be closed, but stressed that no one can eliminate enrichment technology through airstrikes.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced last week that discussions on nuclear issues with Iran would start in the coming days.
Meanwhile, some sources have reported to international media that the Israeli regime is preparing for renewed attacks on Iran.
