OIC strongly condemns the escalation of genocide in Gaza

KABUL: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has once again in the strongest possible terms condemned what it describes as “crimes,” including “genocide, starvation, and destruction by Israeli occupiers,” in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement the OIC said today that in the latest instance, the Israeli regime carried out a “brutal massacre” in Gaza yesterday (Monday), resulting in the martyrdom of 85 individuals and injuring hundreds more.

The OIC defined these actions by the Israeli regime as “war crimes and crimes against humanity.”

The organization also expressed concern over the increasing violence by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.

It called on the international community to take immediate action to establish an urgent and comprehensive ceasefire, lift the Israeli blockade, ensure adequate and unimpeded humanitarian access to Gaza, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

This comes as Israeli military personnel have recently admitted to receiving orders to shoot at civilians in food distribution lines.
