KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the Islamic Emirate’s efforts in Afghanistan’s security stability, drug control, and economic development were praised by several countries in the UN General Assembly.
However, the ministry rejected the resolution presented concerning the situation in Afghanistan.
The statement stated,” The resolution did not reflect the ground realities of the humanitarian situation and overlooked the perspective of the Islamic Emirate during its approval.”
Despite this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Islamic Emirate will assess the content and recommendations of the resolution based on Islamic values and national interests.
