KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, has stated that the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has systematically sent over 350,000 Afghan returnees from Iran back to their original provinces and regions.
He made the remarks today on his X account, adding that the process is still ongoing, and officials are working to facilitate the return of migrants.
It is worth noting that in recent months, thousands of Afghan migrants have been forcibly sent back to Afghanistan by the Iranian government, many of whom face severe economic and social challenges.
