KYIV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the United States has resumed weapons shipments to Ukraine, which had recently been halted.
Zelensky made the remarks in a video tape shared on X, emphasizing that his defense ministry has been in contact with the U.S. and that relations with Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia will soon be reestablished.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the former U.S. president, recently stated that Putin will see what happens next.
He mentioned that military aid to Ukraine will be facilitated through NATO, emphasizing that weapons designated for Ukraine will first be sold to NATO before reaching Ukraine.
This comes after the U.S. had recently paused the shipment of certain weapons, including air defense missiles, to Ukraine.
