Recent Remarks by Araqchi on Gaza: Hamas has recruited 200,000 new forces

KABUL: Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, stated that the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas has successfully recruited 200,000 new personnel in Gaza.
In a statement on his X on Sunday night, he added that Israel thought it could undermine Iran’s 40-year achievement of a peaceful nuclear program by assassinating a few scientists.
However, he noted that they had trained over 100 capable students who would demonstrate their abilities to Netanyahu.
He wrote: “Netanyahu promised victory in Gaza nearly two years ago. What was the final outcome? A military stalemate, an arrest warrant issued for war crimes, and the addition of 200,000 new members to Hamas.”
This senior Iranian diplomat criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that despite his “disgraceful” failure to achieve his goals in the war against Iran, he now audaciously dictates to the U.S. what to say in negotiations with Tehran.
Araghchi questioned: “Aside from the absurdity of Iran listening to the words of a wanted criminal, an inevitable question arises: What exactly is Netanyahu consuming? And if it’s nothing, what evidence does Mossad have against the White House?”
These remarks come amid reports that Hamas’s attacks on Israeli military forces in the Gaza Strip are claiming the lives of soldiers on a daily basis.
