Reconstruction work on 22 schools worth 45 million Afghanis begins in Nuristan

KABUL: The Ministry of Education said in a statement on Monday that reconstruction work on 22 schools worth 45 million Afghanis begins in Nuristan province.
According to the statement, the schools will be reconstructed in the districts of Wama, Want, Waigal, Barg-e Matal, Kantwa, Nurgram, Kamdish, Duaab, and Mandol.
As part of this project, classrooms, boundary walls, and safe drinking water wells will be rebuilt.
Mawlavi Taj Mohammad Mutmain, the head of Education in Nuristan, stated that the completion of the projects will provide a safe educational environment for hundreds of students.
The construction and reconstruction of school buildings with the financial support of the education ministry and partner organizations are ongoing in various provinces of the country.
