KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed that the country will sell Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, with Ukraine promising to cover all associated costs.
Trump made the remarks yesterday while returning to the White House from New Jersey, at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
He did not provide details on the number of systems being supplied but emphasized that the U.S. will not be providing additional financial aid to Ukraine, stating that these weapons are being provided due to urgent need.
Trump expressed strong discontent with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating, “Putin talks nicely, but at night he bombs people.”
