KABUL: The security forces during a search operation discovered and seized an amount of illegal weapons and military munitions in the Ismail Khail district of Mandozai of Khost province.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior today, the seized munitions included two pistols, eight hand grenades, two binoculars, 122 rounds of Kalashnikov ammunition, and various other illegal military equipment.
The statement noted that security forces are seriously working to prevent the use and keeping of illegal weapons.
The Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate has reiterated its commitment to closely monitor any misuse of state weapons and take necessary measures to prevent it.
