Road construction worth 21 million Afghanis begins in Khost

KHOST: Local officials in Khost have announced the initiation of a road construction project in the provincial capital, costing 21 million Afghanis.
According to the municipality officials, the road will connect Sheikh Zayed University, the cricket stadium, the administrative complex, and the civil hospital, providing easier access for residents.
The project includes the construction of 1,140 meters of road, two bridges, 1,540 meters of sidewalks on both sides, and a flowerbed.
The project will be implemented by the Bright Builders construction company under organized supervision over six months.
Khost’s mayor, Mufti Shahzad Noor Rashid, mentioned that the municipality has planned up to 30 projects this year, including 20 major ones.
