KABUL: Bektibek Bekbulotov, an advisor to the Kyrgyz Security Council, stated that Moscow’s recognition of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) appears to be a reasonable and logical decision, suggesting that other countries may follow in its footsteps.
Bekbulotov emphasized that Moscow’s acknowledgment of the IEA indicates that other nations will also make urgent decisions based on their national interests.
While welcoming Moscow’s decision, he noted that various security issues concerning Afghanistan were discussed at the Collective Security meeting.
Previously, several other countries have praised Russia’s initiative to recognize the Islamic Emirate.
Russia was the first country to formally recognize the IEA.
