Leading a delegation Uzbek Foreign Minister arrives in Kabul

KABUL: A high-level delegation led by Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyar Saidov arrived in Kabul this afternoon to participate in a trilateral meeting involving Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
The Arg said in a statement that Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate, officially welcomed the delegation.
It is scheduled that the Uzbek Foreign Minister will also meet with Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund.
During the meeting, discussions will revolve around bilateral relations, regional economic projects, and specifically the Afghan-Trans railway project.
According to the announcement, Bakhtiyar Saidov will also participate in the trilateral meeting in Kabul, which aims to enhance regional cooperation, economic agreements, and advance joint projects.
