KABUL: Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, reacted to Israel’s attack on the Syrian capital, stating that his country supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
In a message on his X on Wednesday night, Araghchi shared images of the Israeli airstrikes and remarked that such an event was entirely predictable, questioning, “What will be the next capital?”
He wrote, “The wild and uncontrolled Zionist regime knows no limits and only understands one language.”
The Iranian diplomat called on the international community and regional countries to unite against this “mad aggression.”
Previously, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan also strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Syrian territory and its capital.
Additionally, the foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia and the United States have responded to these attacks, urging for their reduction.
