KABUL: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned Israel’s attacks on Syrian territory, labeling them as “continued aggressions.”
In an official statement, the OIC reacted to the Israeli military strikes on Syria, accusing Israel of interfering in Syria’s internal affairs.
The organization described these actions as a “clear violation of international laws, international resolutions, sovereignty, and territorial integrity” of Syria.
The statement emphasized the OIC’s complete solidarity and support for the Syrian Arab Republic and its people during this critical time.
It also reiterated the necessity to respect Syria’s sovereignty, unity, independence, and territorial integrity.
The OIC considers Israel’s attacks on Syrian soil as a threat to regional peace and stability, urging the international community and the Security Council to put an end to Israel’s repeated assaults.
Israeli airstrikes targeted the headquarters of the Syrian Army’s Chief of Staff yesterday, located near the presidential building in Syria.
