KABUL:Officials of the Ministry of Economy said that there are currently 2,640 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in various sectors across Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry’s officials, the organizations have implemented 1,211 different projects over the past year, with an additional 109 projects currently underway.
The Ministry of Economy said that these projects focus on humanitarian assistance, health, education, social stability, and reconstruction.
It is noteworthy that the government accountability program to the nation and achievements of the Islamic Emirate’s administrative bodies over the past year have been launched in the presence of various officials, media representatives, and journalists, with plans for the series to continue systematically.
