Mullah Baradar: Security and Defense Forces foundation of Islamic System

KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, stated that the country’s security and defense forces are the foundation of the Islamic system.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior Affairs today, speaking in the graduation ceremony of 525 police cadets from the Southwestern Training Center, Baradar urged security forces to serve the Afghan people.

He emphasized that the security forces are the backbone of the Islamic system and expressed confidence that those trained on the basis of faith, sincerity, and expertise will strive to defend the homeland, reinforce the system, and implement Sharia law. “I hope you to serve the people, combat corruption, and uphold the ideals of martyrs.”

The statement noted that the 525 police personnel received their certificates after completing a one-month training course.

This comes as the Ministry of Interior reported earlier today the graduation of 420 personnel from a training program in the Maidan Wardak province.
