KABUL: Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, the president of the Muslim World League, has traveled to Afghanistan at the head of a delegation and met with Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Arg said in a statement today.
According to the statement, Al-Issa is also scheduled to meet with Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate.
It is expected that discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral relations between the organization and the Afghan government, issues related to the Islamic world, and potential solutions.
The agenda for Al-Issa’s visit also includes meetings with Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani and Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Ministers of Interior and Foreign Affairs, respectively.
This visit comes amid strengthening ties between Afghanistan and various Islamic countries and organizations since the Islamic Emirate’s return to power.
