G20 Countries: The war in Gaza must end now

KABUL: In a joint statement, Foreign Ministers from the G20 countries, including the UK, France, Italy, Japan, and Canada—described the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas as an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe” and called for an immediate end to the fighting.

The statement emphasized that the residents of Gaza are facing unprecedented suffering, pain, and destruction, with the intensity of the crisis being greater than ever before.

These countries pledged to take all necessary actions to facilitate an urgent, unconditional, and lasting ceasefire.

Meanwhile, the Israeli regime has responded to international criticism, stating that such statements send the wrong message to Hamas.
