NPC approves six projects worth 828 million Afghanis

KABUL: Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the National Procurement Commission was held today approving six projects costing 828 million Afghanis.
According to a statement from the Deputy PM Office, 28 projects were presented for approval during the meeting, of which 19 were modified, six were approved, and one contract was canceled after discussion.
The statement also mentioned that the approved projects include the construction of several internal roads in Kabul city and the completion of electricity supply and distribution projects in various provinces.
Additionally, the statement noted that a separate committee has been tasked with negotiating the project costs with the winning company for another project, and a report will be submitted to the leadership of the National Procurement Commission.
