KABUL: Mawlavi Gul Hassan Hassan and Aysn Aydogdiyev, the ambassadors of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan in Russia, met and discussed enhancing bilateral relations.
According to a statement from the Afghan Embassy in Russia today, the ambassadors emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation and relations between Kabul and Ashgabat.
They also described the historical ties between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
Both ambassadors are committed to taking effective steps in various sectors to strengthen their collaboration.
Turkmenistan, as one of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries in Central Asia, has maintained vibrant political, economic, and trade relations with Kabul over the past four years.
