Trump to visit China

KABUL: Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has recently announced that he will be traveling to Beijing soon at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart.

Trump during a conversation with reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday evening, stated, “President Xi has invited me to China, and I will likely make this trip in the not-too-distant future. There’s still some time left, but not too much.”

While he did not specify the exact timing of the trip, reports have previously suggested that the invitation was extended for Trump to participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of China’s victory over Japan, which is set to take place in September.

It is expected that during this visit, Trump will discuss security and trade issues with his Chinese counterpart.

Additionally, the Kremlin has indicated that if Trump attends this celebration, a meeting between the presidents of the United States and Russia is also a possibility.
