KABUL: China is preparing for high-level talks with European Union leaders, expected to cover important topics related to trade, exports, and future relations between the two sides.
Ahead of this significant meeting, the Xinhua state news agency referred to Europe as a “vital partner” for China, emphasizing that existing differences should not be interpreted as conflicts or confrontations.
The commentary stated: “Differences should not only not hinder cooperation but can also strengthen the atmosphere of mutual agreement and trust.”
The meeting comes at a time when trade relations between the two sides face several obstacles and concerns.
European countries have criticized China’s cheap exports and are striving to maintain their product markets.
China has expressed hope that this meeting will reinforce the atmosphere of trust and open new avenues for long-term cooperation.
